With a view outside my studio window of Red Mountain inspiration is all around me in Aspen, Colorado. I have been an artist for as long as I can remember, and remain excited by the exploration of motion, color, light and the influences of the mountains around me. Mixed media, collage, family history and tradition often make their way into my paintings. Mountain landscapes, desert vistas and remote beaches are my muses and inform what I wish to paint.
My arts education began at The University of Colorado in Boulder, where I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. My education has continued through classes, scholarships and studio immersive programs at The Anderson Ranch Art Center and Colorado Mountain College in Aspen. I also attended the Marchutz School of Painting in Aix-en-Provence, where I painted “en plein air” throughout France. My work has been exhibited at venues including the Aspen Art Museum,
The Red Brick Center for the Arts, The Chabad Jewish Community Center Gallery and The Art Base.
Currently, I am a resident artist at The Red Brick Center for the Arts, where I wish to continually develop a visual language that is purely my own. I sell my work through our STORE, exhibitions, private sales and commissions. Local commissions have included a large wall mural for Lindsay’s Boulder Deli at Haagen-Dazs in Boulder, and paintings for clients from Miami to California.
